Selecting More actions on a user's profile page displays a dropdown menu of available actions, grouped into four sections. The actions available to you depend on the permissions assigned to your account.
Email Signatures tier
On the Email Signatures tier, available user actions are limited to View mail signature, Inspect configuration, Inspect permissions, Manage roles, and Move user. See what's included in your tier →
Access & Security
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Update password | Reset the user's password to a new value. |
| Force password change | Prompt the user to change their password on next login. |
| Suspend user | Lock the user's account and stop all incoming mail. |
| Hide user | Remove the user from the global address list. |
| Move user | Change the user's location in your OU hierarchy. |
| Rename user | Change the user's name or primary email address. |
| Hold user | Place the user on hold rather than suspending or offboarding them. |
| Delegate access | Provide access to this user's account, or provide this user access to another user's account. |
| Manage backup codes | Manage the user's 2-Step Verification backup codes. |
| Manage connected apps | Manage apps connected to the user's Google account. Refer to the Managing Connected Applications article for more detail. |
Mail & calendar
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Email settings | Edit the user's Send As address and forwarding rules. You can remove additional Send As addresses but not the primary email address. Note: forwarding rules are applied after a domain sync and require verification by the forwarding recipient via email. |
| Send email | Send an email directly to the user. |
| Manage out of office | Set an out of office message for the user, including the time period it will be active and whether to send the response to contacts or domain users only. |
| View mail signature | View the user's current email signature value. Note: this shows the current stored value, not the signature currently being synchronised. |
| Delegate calendar | Similar to Delegate access but applies to calendar only, not mail. |
| Set calendar time zone | Set the timezone for the user. This affects how their calendar displays and the default timezone for new events. |
Offboard
| Action | Description |

| Offboard user | Start the offboarding process for the user. |
| Set end date & time | Set a date and time for the user to be automatically offboarded. Note: the user may be offboarded up to ±1 hour from the selected time. |
User details
| Action | Description |

| Inspect permissions | View the permissions assigned to the user, the scope of each permission (own profile, a specific OU, or global), and which role each permission comes from. If a permission is included in two or more roles, the user can perform that action across all OUs in scope. Select the Copy to clipboard icon to copy the full permissions list. |
| Inspect configuration | Quickly view where specific configurations are being inherited from. |
| Contact information | Generate a QR code containing the user's contact data as a vCard. Scanning the QR code with a phone will transfer the information to the address book. Supported on a range of iOS and Android devices. For more information on vCards, refer to the vCard Wikipedia article. |
| Manage roles | Add roles to this user and specify the OU scope for each role. |
