How to view status of restorations

The Restoration Status screen allows you to search for and view all restorations that you have carried out on the domain, including those that are in progress. 

At the top of the screen, you will see a quick summary of:

  • Restorations in progress
  • Restorations in last 30 days
  • Restorations in total

User Restorations status

To see information about restorations of user data navigate to the User Restorations tab.

In the table, you will see a list of all the user restorations that have taken place on your domain, with the following columns

  • Date - The date and time that the restoration was triggered.
  • User - The user that the data was backed up from
  • Data Type - The type of data restored
  • Target - The user that the data was restored to
  • Total - The total number of items restored
  • Status - The status of the process

You can filter the results displayed in the list using either the Status drop down menu, allowing you to only show processes that meet a specific Status such as Failed, or by entering the user name of the user that the data was originally backed up from.

Clicking on a specific restoration in the list will prompt an additional information panel to be displayed on the right hand side of the screen. The panel includes:

  • Restoration Status - The status of the process
  • Mail items restored - The total number of Mail items restored in the process
  • Drive items restored - The total number of Drive items restored in the process
  • Source - The name of the backed up user and the data types included in the restoration
  • Executor - The administrator who triggered the restoration process
  • Target - The user that the data was restored to
  • Backup date - The date and time that the restored data was originally backed up.
  • Restoration started - The date and time that the restoration was triggered

 

Shared Drive Restorations status

To see information about restorations of Shared Drives navigate to the Shared Drive Restorations tab.

In the table, you will see a list of all the Shared Drives restorations that have taken place on your domain, with the following columns:

  • Date - The date and time that the restoration was triggered
  • Shared Drive - The Shared Drive that the data was backed up from
  • Target - The Shared Drive that the data was restored to
  • Total - The total number of items restored
  • Status - The status of the process

You can filter the results displayed in the list using either the Status drop down menu, allowing you to only show processes that meet a specific Status such as Failed, or by entering the Shared Drive name of the Shared Drive that the data was originally backed up from.
