By selecting an Azure datacenter closest to your Microsoft 365 tenant's data location, CloudM is able to leverage the best possible throughput when migrating data into and out of your tenant. We do this by utilising Microsoft Azure's strategically placed global geographies to minimise latency during migrations. Choosing a geography closest to you can yield significant performance improvements over an unoptimised region configuration.
You can find more information about Azure's global regions here https://azure.microsoft.com/global-infrastructure/geographies/
Currently, CloudM Migrate supports the following data regions:
- West Europe
- East US
- West US 3
