What is involved in a Global Sync?

For changes that are not applied immediately, a global synchronisation will apply changes to the following:

Organisational units
User profiles
Groups
External contacts

Changes made directly through Google Workspace UI since the last sync are also synchronised, although it is recommended to create users in CloudM Manage.

How often does a Global Sync occur?

A Global Sync occurs every 48 hours.

Can I change how often a Global Synchronisation occurs on my domain?

No. Global Synchronisation timings cannot be changed at a per Organization Unit (OU) level.

How long does it take for CloudM Manage to sync with Google Workspace / LDAP?

Depending on the number of changes made, this time frame can vary. We expect most changes our customers make to take place between half an hour to potentially 2 hours. If you are making large changes or have a very large organisation unity, then this can be expected to take longer.
