CloudM Migrate System Requirements – CloudM

Environment

64 bit Operating system: Windows Server 2016+ (Clean build recommended)
Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8
Recommended system specification - Primary Server:
- 3GHz 8 Core Processor or better
- 200+GB Disk space
- 16+GB Memory
Recommended system specification - Secondary Server(s):
- 3GHz 4 Core Processor or better
- 100GB Disk space
- 8+GB Memory

Any available Windows updates should be installed and the machine rebooted prior to installation, and a full system administrator is recommended for installation.

Large Migrations Infrastructure

A 'large migration' is considered to be a migration of over 25,000 users or 10 million objects. Please ensure you refer to the following articles for additional considerations:

Note for GroupWise and Lotus Notes Migrations

When migrating from Novell GroupWise or IBM Lotus Notes / Domino, you must install the 32bit version of CloudM Migrate Self Hosted. This must still be installed on a 64bit operating system.

The following extra software is required for the tool to operate:

Microsoft .NET Framework version 4.7.2
When migrating from GroupWise
- 32 bit installation of CloudM Migrate
- Novell GroupWise Client 6.5.6 or higher
- Novell Client 4.91SP4 or higher
When migrating from IBM Lotus Notes/Domino
- 32 bit installation of CloudM Migrate
- Lotus Notes Client 6.0.2 or higher
Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010/2013/2016 and Office 365
- PowerShell 3.0/4.0 (Requires TLS 1.2+ as Microsoft have removed support for any version below)

Open Ports

CloudM Migrate migrates data over HTTPS, and therefore, port 443 must be open.
