Configuring CloudM Migrate
To successfully migrate Microsoft Teams you must first configure CloudM Migrate for Microsoft 365 Groups Migration
Below is a table of supported item types for Microsoft Teams migrating to Microsoft 365.
Team Conversations
Team Conversations can be exported as Email (destination must support email), Document (destination must support files), both Email and Document or None. When migrating as a 'Document' a HTML file will be created in file system. If migrating to Microsoft Team, a message will be posted to the 'Channel' with a link to the document. We will only ever post one message to the channel, any subsequent migrations the document will be updated.
Enabling 'Record Document Mappings' under 'General Migration Settings > Reporting/Notification' will allow CloudM Migrate to add links to any documents with in a Conversation. Both 'Record Document Mappings' and 'Drive' must be checked.
CloudM Migrate allows you to specify date ranges for conversation messages. This setting can be found under 'General Migration Settings > Common'
