I’ve used another application to migrate data previously. Will CloudM Migrate create duplicates?
CloudM Migrate automatically tags all items so that they will never be duplicated. However, we can only guarantee this for items migrated by the CloudM Migrate. Other solutions may not perform this thorough duplication prevention process. Therefore, you may have duplicate items from the previous 3rd party migration.
In this scenario, you have the following options:-
- Remove and then recreate the mailbox using the CloudM Migrate and migrate the whole mailbox again.
- Delete all items from the mailbox, empty all trash and re-migrate.
- Migrate only the items not migrated by the 3rd party, using the date range filter in the CloudM Migrate.
