Understanding the Dashboard

The CloudM Continuity dashboard gives you an overview of your sync operations. It is the first screen you see after signing in.

Dashboard layout

The dashboard is organised into several sections, each providing a different view of your sync operations:

Section What it shows
Metrics row Four summary cards: Total data synced, Users synced, Changes Last 24h, and Failed Users
Sync pipeline Three-stage visual flow showing where users are in the sync process: Waiting, Initial Sync, and Synced (with delta status indicators)
Quick info panel Users with active policy, Successful syncs all time, and Failed syncs all time
Last successful sync Relative time prominently displayed (e.g. "2 days ago") with the absolute timestamp below, colour-coded by freshness
Initial sync status Donut chart showing the breakdown of initial sync operations, with a "View more" link
Delta sync status Donut chart showing the breakdown of delta sync operations, with a "View more" link

The dashboard shows tenant-wide data across all policies and all time. There are no filter controls on the dashboard itself. For filtered views, use the Sync Status page.

Loading and empty states

Each dashboard section loads independently. While data is being fetched, skeleton placeholders are shown in place of the content. If there is no data available for a section, a "No data available" message is displayed instead.

Navigating from the dashboard

Several dashboard elements link to other pages for deeper investigation:

Element Links to
Initial sync status "View more" Sync Status page filtered to initial sync operations
Delta sync status "View more" Sync Status page filtered to delta sync operations

Sidebar navigation

The sidebar displays the current tenant name at the top and provides access to all areas of CloudM Continuity:

Item Description

Policies Create and manage sync policies
Connections Manage Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace connections
Sync Status Per-user sync status with search and filtering
Logs Audit and sync event logs
Support Access support resources and contact information

All roles can view the dashboard

Super Admins, Admins, and Viewers can all see the dashboard and its data. No special permissions are needed to monitor sync operations.
