To ensure optimal service performance and adherence to our Terms and Conditions, CloudM Archive operates under a Fair Use Policy. This policy limits the number of times a specific user account can be processed.
The Policy Limit
Default Limit: Each unique user (identified by their User ID) can be archived a maximum of 5 times.
This limit applies to the cumulative number of archive attempts made for a single User ID over time, regardless of whether those attempts occur in the same project or separate instances.
Exceeding the Limit
If you attempt to archive a user that has already reached the 5-time limit, the CloudM Archive platform will prevent the action and display an error message.
The error will indicate that the Fair Use Policy level has been exceeded for that specific User ID.
Resolution
The Fair Use Policy is an existing part of the CloudM Archive Terms and Conditions.
If you believe you have a legitimate business requirement to archive a specific user more than 5 times (e.g., specific compliance audits or complex legal holds), please contact your CloudM Account Executive, Customer Success Manager, or our Support Team to discuss your requirements.
