You can configure an offboarding workflow with flexible and repeatable steps to suit your own preferences or to meet your organisational policies. We have a range of key steps you can configure that automate will execute for you in a workflow, managing your Google Workspace user in a sequential manner of your choosing. Please note that initial and final steps in the workflow will be locked and not able to be reordered or repeated.
Configuring an Offboarding Workflow
To configure an offboarding workflow:
- Head to the Offboarding Workflow page and select the OU or Smart Team that you'd like to configure a workflow for.
- Select the 'Add Offboarding Step' button before adding your desired step.
- Select the initial offboarding step, either by clicking or drag and dropping. Select Add Step to add.
- Drag and drop or select your preferred steps in whichever order you'd like and repeated as much as you'd like.
- Select your final step.
- Save Rules to finalise your changes.
- Delete whichever steps you'd like to remove and re-save.
Tips:
- Smart Team workflows will always supersede OU workflows
- You can inherit a specific workflow from a parent organisation, with the 'inherit from parent organization' setting.
