Google Vault - Source Settings

This article outlines the settings available for Google Vault as a source.

Vault Options

  • Polling interval: The interval in minutes used to poll for the status of an export. Default: 10 minutes.
  • Mail search term: Mail search term used to narrow or broaden the export search.
  • Chat search term: Chat search term used to narrow or broaden the export search.
  • Drive search term: Drive search term used to narrow or broaden the export search.
  • Concurrent download limit: The number of export archives downloadable at the same time. Default: 10.
  • Concurrent export limit: The number of exports allowed at the same time. Default: 2.
  • Search timezone: The default timezone to use when building the export search.
  • Preserve Matters on completion: Preserve the Google Vault Matters created during the export process on migration completion (success or failure).

Email Options

  • Export spam emails: Export spam emails.

Message Options

  • Special folder names: The names of the special folders. Leave a folder name empty to exclude it from the migration, or if it does not exist.
  • Auto generate missing message IDs: Use automatically generated message IDs for any messages that do not contain a message ID.

Mail Archive Options

  • Archive label method: Select the way to specify the destination label or folder. Options: Specified Label, or Email Labels (Gmail Archive).
  • Archive label: The label that will be applied to migrated messages when labelling is enabled.

Chat Options

  • Migrate chat history: Migrate chat history.
  • Migrated chat label: The label that will be applied to migrated chats.
