Prerequisites
- The Google Takeout process should be finalized, and the data should be transferred to a storage bucket under your ownership. This is necessary because the bucket generated by the Google Takeout procedure will be removed after an estimated period of 30 days.
- Ensure you have followed the steps in the below article to enable the API's, create a service account and assigned the correct API scopes.
Connection Details
- Connection name: Provide a unique name for this new source connection. This connection will be available in the Connections screen and can be reused across projects. The name can be used to identify the connection.
- Domain name: The domain name of the source Google Workspace environment you are migrating from.
- Authentication method: The choice of either P12 or JSON format for exporting the private key of the service account during the prerequisite steps will determine the selection to be made here. If the key was exported as a P12 file, please choose P12. If it was exported as a JSON file, please choose JSON.
- Service account email address: The email address of the service account that was created when completing the prerequisite steps above.
- Private key: The private key for the service account in the format chosen in the Authentication Method field.
- Bucket name: The name of the Google Cloud Storage Bucket where the takeout data is located.
- Takeout prefix: The name of the Bucket folder containing the takeout users.
